Does this sound like your shop?

These are the problems shop owners tell us about most. Here is what Valekora does about each one.

In the evening, the money doesn't match the sales, and nobody knows why.

With ValekoraEvery sale is recorded with the cashier's name. Each evening you see exactly how much is missing, and who was at the till.

You can't be at the shop all day.

With ValekoraSee today's sales, anything missing and anything waiting for you, on your phone, wherever you are.

Customers buy on credit, then forget to pay.

With ValekoraEach customer has a credit limit. You see who owes what, and since when, so you know who to call.

Stock goes missing from the store.

With ValekoraQuick stock counts show what is missing, what it is worth, and who counted it.

Staff give discounts you never agreed to.

With ValekoraYou set the lowest price for each product. Going below it needs a manager's PIN, with their name on the sale.

When the network or ENEO cuts, selling stops.

With ValekoraValekora keeps selling on the phone and sends everything when the network comes back.

How it works, in 3 steps

The same three steps, every day.

  1. Sell

Your cashier records each sale on a phone: cash, MTN MoMo, Orange Money or credit. Even without network.

  2. Count

In the evening, the manager counts the cash in the drawer. Valekora shows what should be there only after the count.

  3. Check

You see the day's sales and anything missing, with names and reasons. You approve the day from your phone.

A day with Valekora

From opening in the morning to checking the money at night.

  1. 07:30 · Opening

The cashier counts the starting cash

Aisha counts the 20 000 FCFA in the drawer before she sells anything. Her name goes on that drawer for the day.

  2. 13:00 · At the counter

Sales carry on, even in a power cut

A customer pays part in cash and part by MoMo. The phone keeps the sale and sends it as soon as the network is back.

  3. 19:25 · Evening check

The money is counted honestly, and you check it from home

The manager counts the cash before Valekora shows what it should be. If anything is missing, you see how much, who, and why.

Also in Valekora

Besides the problems above, here is what else you get.

One sale, several ways to pay

A customer can pay part cash, part MoMo, part on credit. The sale only finishes when every franc is accounted for.

You decide, from anywhere

Big expenses, cancelled sales and the day's check wait for your OK on your phone. The largest amounts come first, with photos and reasons.

Know who did what

Every sale, cancellation and approval keeps the person's name and the time. Nothing can be changed quietly.

All your branches on one screen

With several branches, see each one's sales, cash and anything missing side by side, or all of them together.

Receipts by WhatsApp or SMS

Send the customer a link to their receipt instead of printing it. It shows the shop, the items and how they paid.

English or French, for each person

Everyone chooses their own language. The cashier can work in French while you read in English.

Your whole team works from the same numbers

Each person sees only what their job needs, and cannot change what they shouldn't. These are the real screens.

CashierRecords the sale and how the customer paid
ManagerCounts the cash before seeing what it should be
OwnerSees anything missing and approves the day

Questions shop owners ask

Does it work without network or electricity?

Yes. Sales, customer payments, expenses and cash counts are saved on the phone and sent when the network comes back. Each screen shows whether everything has been sent. A phone on a power bank keeps selling during an ENEO cut.

Which payments does it record?

Cash, MTN MoMo, Orange Money and credit, or a mix of them in one sale. For MoMo and Orange, the cashier types the reference from the payment SMS. In the evening the manager ticks each one off against the shop's phone.

Who can see what?

Cashiers see only their own sales. Managers see their branch and do the evening count. You, the owner, see everything, give the approvals, and are the only one who can reopen a day that is closed. Valekora's staff cannot see inside your shop unless you allow it, for a set time.

What if a cashier sells too cheaply?

You set a lowest price for each product. Staff can bargain down to it, but no lower unless a manager enters their PIN on the same phone. The sale keeps the name of whoever approved it.

Can I take my records out?

Yes. Every report can be downloaded as a spreadsheet file (CSV), and you can download all your shop's records in one file at any time.

How much does it cost, and how do I start?

5 000 FCFA a month for one shop and 10 000 FCFA for up to three branches, paid by MoMo, Orange Money or bank transfer. The first 14 days are free and there is no contract. We start with a free demo using your own products, then set up your shop with you.
